Kidnapping Suspects Sought

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding two suspects who were believed to have kidnapped and assaulted a man on Saturday, June 26th, 2021, in the Cordes Lakes area.

The two suspects, 34-year-old Dustin Wesley Mountain and 26-year-old Joshua Paul Halliburton came to the victim’s home and threatened him, forcing him into their car and drove him to another location. There they threatened the victim several more times and beat him.

Mountain is described as a white male 5 feet 11 inches tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address is in the 16000 block of South Apache Trail in Cordes Lakes. He also has a tattoo across his chest. Halliburton is a 26-year-old white male, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address is in the 20700 block of East Deer Valley in Mayer. The suspects are believed to still be in the area. They could be driving a borrowed tan 1985 Ford Ranger Pickup or in a blue truck belonging to Mountain. These suspects now have active felony warrants for Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping, and Threatening or Intimidating.
