The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) announced on Wednesday $33,792,312 in Tribal gaming contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund for the State’s fourth quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021. This amount represents a 32 percent increase when compared to same quarter of FY2020.
“It is exciting to see this significant increase in Tribal contributions when compared to the fourth quarter of FY2020,” said Ted Vogt, Director, ADG. “Not only is it clear that Arizona Tribal gaming has had a strong rebound, each of these additional gaming dollars will help support vital programs throughout the state like schools, trauma centers, wildlife conservation and more.”

Per the Arizona Tribal-State Gaming Compact, Tribes with casinos contribute a percentage of their Class III gross gaming revenue to the state, cities, towns and counties. Currently, there are 24 Class III casinos in Arizona, which ADG regulates with Arizona tribes.
