The 75th annual Yavapai County Spelling Bee was held on Saturday, February 13th, at Yavapai College.
Aliyah Alpert continued her winning streak, placing first in the competition. Aliyah is home schooled, (5th Grade), and has won first place in 2019 and 2020, and now in 2021. She was unable to go to the state competition in 2020 because of the pandemic. In the photo, she is at the far left.
Jordan Buster, from Basis Prescott, came in second. He is second from the right in the photo.
James St. Laurent, also a home school student, from “Prescott Area Home Schoolers” came in third. He is second from the left in the photo.
Logan Dartt, from Bradshaw Mt. Middle School, came in fourth place.
