Sen. Kyrsten Sinema Receives “Medicare Advantage Champion” Award for Supporting Arizona Seniors’ Health Coverage Choices

Coalition of More Than 600,000 Grassroots Beneficiaries Applauds Senator’s Commitment to Protecting Arizonans’ Health Coverage Options

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) was honored today with the 2022 Medicare Advantage Champion award for her strong advocacy on behalf of Arizona seniors’ access to quality, affordable health coverage options.

Presented by Better Medicare Alliance (BMA), the nation’s leading research and advocacy organization supporting Medicare Advantage, the award recognizes lawmakers who have worked in a bipartisan fashion to strengthen and protect Medicare Advantage, the public-private partnership within Medicare. More than 29 million seniors and Americans with disabilities nationwide choose enrollment in Medicare Advantage – including more than 660,000 Arizonans.

“Arizona seniors deserve to know who is standing up for their health care needs in Washington. On behalf of our nearly 600,000 grassroots advocates nationwide, we’re proud to honor Senator Kyrsten Sinema with our ‘Medicare Advantage Champion’ award for doing exactly that,” said Mary Beth Donahue, President and CEO of Better Medicare Alliance“Like each of this year’s awardees, Senator Sinema has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to working with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to secure and strengthen the high-quality, affordable, coordinated care offered by Medicare Advantage. With Medicare Advantage beneficiaries reporting a 94% satisfaction rate and saving nearly $2,000 in health care expenses per year, we look forward to continuing to work alongside leaders like Senator Sinema to protect seniors’ health and financial wellbeing by protecting Medicare Advantage.”

The Medicare Advantage Champion award is Better Medicare Alliance’s highest honor, presented annually to members of Congress who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to protecting seniors’ Medicare Advantage coverage. 1. REALITY CHECK! REALITY CHECK!

Kyrsten Sinema voted to spend HUGE, HUGE, HUGE amounts of taxpayer money on Radical Left entitlements, the idiotic Green New Deal and other Radical Left boondoggles.

The inflation caused by Mark Kelly, Kyrsten Sinema and the rest of the Democrat Party vote-buyers-in-charge more than offset any gains made in Medicare Advantage.

FACT: if Kyrsten Sinema really cared about the people of Arizona she would STOP VOTING TO STEAL AND SPEND OUR MONEY!! The tax hikes due to her fiscal recklessness has already hammered all of our savings, 401k, pensions, grocery bills, ad infinitum, ad nauseam.

FACT: The “Better Medicare Alliance” is funded by big insurance companies, not any group that gives a tinker’s about the welfare of Medicare recipients. In 2015, the BMA strongly opposed Medicare rate reductions. Make no mistake the BMA is interested in one thing and one thing only: PROFIT! Their award to Kyrsten Sinema is all smoke and mirrors meant to suck money out of everyone’s pockets.
