MATFORCE, a primary prevention organization with a focus on stopping youth drug use before it starts, is conducting a Mental Health First Aid course in Prescott Valley this summer.
Mental Health First Aid Training in Prescott Valley
This 8-hour Mental Health First Aid training is open to the community and is ideal for anyone interested in helping an individual experiencing a mental health crisis. Participants will learn how to identify common signs and symptoms of mental illness and substance use, connect with those in crisis, and practice non-judgmental listening techniques.
This free, in-person class is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and will be held at Prescott Valley Police Department in the Training Room, located at 7601 Skoog Blvd in Prescott Valley. Advance registration is mandatory for all attendees and closes on 7/20/2026.
