Northern Arizona VA Health Care System will host a commemoration event for local Vietnam War Veterans, which include a Posting of the Colors and remarks from hospital leadership and Veterans.
“Whether they were deployed to the battlefield, stationed on base, or away for training, America’s Vietnam Veterans sacrificed greatly on our behalf,” said Steve Sample, Northern Arizona VA Health Care System Director. “We look forward to acknowledging that sacrifice and showing our gratitude at this commemoration.”
National Vietnam War Veterans Day, observed each year on March 29, was signed into law by U.S. President Donald J. Trump in 2017.
Vietnam War Veterans, their families, and those who would like to show support for Veterans who served between November 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, are invited.
The event will take place Friday, March 27, from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M, at the Prescott VA Medical Center, 500 AZ-89m, outside the Ramada (across from the main flagpole)
