Sparklight®, Prescott’s hometown internet provider, is partnering with Prescott Meals on Wheels to host a free Lunch and Learn workshop to help residents stay safe online. The session will be held Tuesday, March 24, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Prescott Meals on Wheels, 1280 E. Rosser St. in Prescott, with lunch served at 12:30 p.m.
The session will cover how to spot common scams, ways to protect personal information and tips for using the web confidently and securely. All area residents are welcome, and no sign-up is required.
In addition to sponsoring educational sessions like these, Sparklight reinforces its commitment to digital safety through its Digital Education Center, an online hub for computer literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and safe internet use.
