A.R. Gurney’s “Sylvia,” is a comedic play that explores themes of love, commitment, aging, and the challenges of marriage, all through the lens of a man’s relationship with his dog. It enjoyed a successful off-Broadway run in 1995 and a Broadway revival in 2016.
