CAFMA Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Early-Morning Fire in Granville

Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) firefighters responded to a reported structure fire in the Granville subdivision near Lemon Tree Drive and Ardmore Avenue at approximately 5:28 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the residence. The fire was quickly extinguished and is currently under investigation. Working smoke alarms alerted the occupant, enabling safe self-evacuation and a timely call to 9-1-1. Early notification confined the fire to contents and prevented further spread. No injuries were reported.
