Ballet Victoria’s The Nutcracker Brings Holiday Magic to Prescott – Dec 6 & 7

The Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center invites you to celebrate the holiday season with the return of Ballet Victoria’s The Nutcracker – a dazzling, family-friendly production that has become a cherished seasonal tradition for audiences of all ages. Here for three performances only on Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7.

With breathtaking choreography, imaginative staging, and Tchaikovsky’s beloved score, Ballet Victoria’s adaptation of The Nutcracker whisks audiences away to a world of twinkling snowflakes, dancing sweets, and childhood wonder. From the festive Christmas Eve party to the enchanting Land of Sweets, every scene bursts with magic, color, and joy. The 2025 production, titled The Gift of The Nutcracker, reimagines the timeless tale through Ballet Victoria’s signature storytelling style – rich in emotion, humor, and imagination.

Founded in 2002 and based in British Columbia, Ballet Victoria has earned international acclaim for its innovative productions that merge tradition with creativity. Under the artistic direction of Paul Destrooper, the company is celebrated for captivating storytelling and exquisite performances. Make your Nutcracker outing even more memorable with a pre-show Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party, hosted on the mezzanine prior to select performances. Seating is limited for this intimate Fairy tea party.

The Nutcracker event has sold out in past seasons – so early ticket purchase is encouraged for the best available seating.

Tickets for Ballet Victoria’s The Nutcracker start at $44, and for Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party are $20 per person.
