Prescott Federal Credit Union Celebrates 88 Years of Financial Service to Veterans and Community

Prescott Federal Credit Union is honoring its 88th anniversary with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30PM on November 13 at its branch headquarters near the Prescott VA Medical Center. The event is open to the public and will feature a full ribbon cutting ceremony with cookies and refreshments.

“We want to share this moment with our community and everyone who supports our credit union,” says Anna May Corey, CEO of Prescott FCU. “There aren’t many organizations that can say they’ve served people for nearly a hundred years, and we’re incredibly proud of this achievement.”

Originally founded by the Fort Whipple mortician as Prescott U.S. Employees Federal Credit Union in 1937, Prescott FCU has since expanded to provide financial services to households of veterans, federal employees, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University staff and students in Prescott and the surrounding areas.

As a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative, Prescott FCU’s mission is to provide fair, honest and accessible financial products and services that help families thrive, as well as supporting the local community.

The ribbon-cutting event is open to the public, and everyone is invited to attend and celebrate this milestone with the credit union. For more information, visit www.prescottfcu.org or call 928-445-7970.
