The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Yavapai College invites the community to an engaging Open House on Wed. Oct. 15, from 3-4 p.m. at the Yavapai College Prescott Valley Center, 3800 N. Glassford Hill Rd.
This free event is an opportunity for adults aged 50 and older to meet facilitators, discover upcoming classes, and explore all that OLLI has to offer.
OLLI offers a robust lineup of engaging, non-credit classes designed to stimulate the mind and spark new friendships. OLLI’s upcoming classes in Prescott Valley include Wellness Reset: Holistic Tools for a Healthier You, Exploring the Treasure at Sutton Hoo, Getting to Know the Founding Fathers, The American West, Wellness in a Changing World, Meditative Mandala, Clam Chatter: Explore Marine Life!, and When Galaxies Collide, among others. Classes are all offered by volunteer facilitators who are members of OLLI.
Whether you’re a returning member or new to OLLI, the open house event on Oct. 15 is a great opportunity to ask questions, meet the team, and register for fall classes in person.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Yavapai College is a vibrant community of learners aged 50 and over who enjoy exploring new ideas, developing new skills, and building friendships through classes and shared interests. There are no tests, grades, or pressure—just the joy of learning.
