Yavapai College’s School of Film & Media Arts is holding a casting call for Plato’s Cave Revisited, a short faculty art film, Saturday, July 19 at noon at the Prescott Public Library, 215 E. Goodwin Street.
The filmmakers are looking for a variety of physical types:
- Baby (age 0-1), Female, dark hair (for brief crawling sequence)
- VR Woman (Late 50s or older) Casual clothing
- Cave Guards (Any age) Male
- Cave Prisoner (18-50) Male
- Background actors (various ages) Either gender; casual clothing
Auditions will be held on Saturday, July 19 at noon, in the Elsie Room on the Library’s second floor. Additional auditions (if needed) will take place the following day, at noon.
Plato’s Cave Revisited will shoot Saturday July 26 and Saturday & Sunday, August 16-17, starting at 9 a.m. Actors must be available all day.
