The Prescott National Forest will be extending an area closure on the Bradshaw Ranger District while heavy equipment will be operating near National Forest System Road (NFSR) 9270A (aka Doce Pit Road). The purpose of Closure Order # 03-09-03-25-09 is to provide safe working conditions for contractors while executing the Doce Pit Mechanical Project and for safety of the public under closure order. Doce Pit Road will be closed beginning July 1st at 12:00 am through August 31st at 11:59 pm, or until rescinded.
Road Closure Description:
- NFSR 9271A and all NFS Lands within a half (1/2) mile of NFSR 9271A, located within Township 14 North, Range 3 West, Section 17, 18, 19, and 30.
- The closure starts at the intersection of NFSR 9271A and Iron Springs Road, then follows NFSR 9271A south for approximately 3.30 miles.
