On March 10, 2025, Prescott Valley Police Department was able to locate the stolen vehicle after receiving alerts from a Flock Automated License Plate Reader. Upon attempting to stop the vehicle, a brief pursuit ensued involving PVPD officers and officers from the Department of Public Safety. The pursuit ultimately ended near State Route 89A and Prescott Ridge Road after the suspect lost control of the stolen vehicle. Officers successfully prevented the vehicle from further movement. The suspect was arrested without further incident. Officers sustained minor injuries stemming from the incident.

Several firearms were located on Paylor’s person and within the vehicle along with illicit drugs and related paraphernalia. Paylor was transported to a local hospital for medical assessment and, following his release, was booked into the Yavapai County Prescott Jail on charges of theft of means of transportation, several weapons misconduct charges, aggravated DUI, several drug related charges, felony criminal damage, felony flight and endangerment.
