Friday evening, Prescott Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the area of Seri Drive and Copper Basin. Fortunately, no civilian or firefighter injuries were reported, and some pets were successfully rescued, including a cat that FF Dileo treated for smoke inhalation.
We appreciate the assistance of Central Arizona Fire and Medical, Prescott Police Department, and Life Line Ambulance in ensuring a swift and effective response. Thankfully, weather conditions did not hinder suppression efforts, and most importantly, everyone made it out safely. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
