Findlay Subaru Prescott, in partnership with Operation Warm for the second year in a row, is delighted to announce the successful donation of 120 new coats to children at the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arizona. The recent gifting events hosted by Boys and Girls Club took place on February 5th at the Prescott location and on February 13th at the Prescott Valley location. Volunteers helped fit children for the new coats in their favorite color during a free and engaging shopping experience.
As winter temperatures drop, having warm clothing is essential for children to stay comfortable and healthy. This initiative ensures that children in the Prescott area can enjoy the season without worrying about the cold.
Findlay Subaru Prescott’s involvement in this initiative is part of the broader Subaru Loves to Help program championed by Subaru of America, Inc., which is dedicated to supporting local communities and making a positive impact by sharing comfort, hope and confidence with children and adults. The Subaru Loves to Help initiative focuses on addressing critical needs such as food insecurity, homelessness, and providing essential items like warm clothing to those in need. Through this program, Subaru and its retailers will have helped more than 900,000 children and adults in need supporting their mental and emotional well-being.
“We are thrilled to partner with Operation Warm® and the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arizona to provide these much-needed coats,” said Kara Hartman, Marketing Director at Findlay Subaru Prescott. “Our goal is to ensure that every child has the warmth and comfort they need to thrive during the colder months. This donation is a testament to our commitment to the community and our belief that every child deserves to feel safe and warm.”
Operation Warm, a national nonprofit organization, manufactures brand-new, high-quality coats for children. Their mission is to inspire hope and empower communities by providing warmth, confidence, and the opportunity for a brighter future.
The Boys and Girls Club of Central Arizona provides a safe and supportive environment for children to learn, grow, and develop essential life skills. The donation of new coats will help ensure that the children can continue to participate in club activities comfortably, regardless of the weather.
Findlay Subaru Prescott and Operation Warm extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this event a success. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
