Arizona State Senator Mark Finchem held his first Town Hall at the Palace on Whiskey Row Thursday evening. He has promised to have these events monthly to talk to his LD-1 constituents.
Sen. Finchem started off by talking about the bills he has sponsored at the State Capitol. He mentioned that he had been asked to run for Lieutenant Governor, but stated that, for now, he is not interested in that position.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were former Senate President Karen Fann, Jana Kading (former head of YavGOP), Kristin Baumgartner (the current head of YavGOP), Shawn Dell Wildman, Prescott’s Mayor Phil Goode, Chris Kuknyo, and over 40 others.
The Senator took questions from the audience and explained several problems and their possible solutions. It was a very interesting session.
