At approximately 7:09 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, firefighters from Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) responded to a house fire that had extended into an attic space near Main Street and Huron Street in Dewey-Humboldt, Arizona. Thanks to the quick actions of the crews, the fire was rapidly contained, preventing further spread. Firefighters remained on scene to thoroughly investigate and extinguish any hot spots, ensuring the area was safe.
Fortunately, the occupants safely evacuated before CAFMA’s arrival, and no injuries were reported. The American Red Cross of Arizona is providing support to the residents. The fire was determined to have been caused by an electrical issue.
