On Friday, Nov. 22, Prescott’s 4th Friday Art Walk will welcome art enthusiasts to explore 16 downtown galleries, showcasing local and nationally acclaimed artists. Each month, these galleries extend their hours, offering unique exhibits, artist receptions, and signature events.

Prescott, surrounded by cool mountainous forests, has long inspired its resident artists. The Art Walk provides a special opportunity to meet these artists, gain insight into their creative processes, and immerse in the community. Historic buildings serve as a striking backdrop, preserving Prescott’s rich heritage.

Since its founding in 2004, the 4th Friday Art Walk has been a celebrated evening for Prescott’s visual arts community. Participating galleries host evening events beginning at 5 p.m. each month. Visitors can pick up gallery guides at participating locations, hotel brochure racks, and the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.

At ‘Tis Art Center & Gallery, visitors are invited to explore the Mezzanine Showcase “Artist’s Attic” featuring Jo Manginelli (fabric weaving), Debra Salazar (felted animals), and Antonio Leal (woodworks). The exhibit, located at 105 S. Cortez Street, will have an artist reception from 5 to 7 p.m., with opportunities to mingle with artists, enjoy wine, and sample light snacks.

At Van Gogh’s Ear, located at 156 S. Montezuma Street, visitors can unwind with the eclectic sounds of Chris Wuehrmann, a pianist known for blending country, folk, rock, blues, and jazz. The evening event will run from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring wine, beer, and, of course, fine art.
