Jim Arroyo, President of the Yavapai County Preparedness Team, discusses the longshoreman’s strike on the east coast of the US. It was a wakeup call because of the snowball effect. Without the ships being offloaded, especially those with international fuel shipments, it meant that gas stations would run out, trucks with supplies would be unable to get to grocery stores, and so on.
Jim discusses what happened during COVID, but points out that a situation like this could be much worse. This is why he recommends that everyone go out and stock up on medical supplies, food, and other necessities. With winter coming on, this needs to be done for everyone.
