The Prescott Valley Performing Arts Theater will be home to a night of clean stand-up comedy for the whole family on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. featuring national touring comic Ron Morey.
Tickets are available at www. pvperformingarts.org, $20 general admission, doors open at 6:30 p.m. The Main Street Theater is located at 3235 N Main Street, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314, adjacent to the Findlay Toyota Center.
Morey, a regular at the famed Improv in Hollywood, CA, is an energetic performer who has earned a nomination as “One of the Top 5 Comics in America” by The Entertainment Journal and has been a featured performer for multiple USO tours for the troops in Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Italy, and South Korea.
Morey has also been featured on PBS, A&E, and as an actor for NFL Films. He has toured with George Lopez, Tracy Morgan, Ellen DeGeneres, and D.L. Hughley to name just a few.
Joining Morey for the show will be Brian Kohatsu from Glendale, AZ. Kohatsu, a veteran of the Arizona comedy scene, performs in clubs, theaters, and corporate shows across the country.
Kohatsu found success in radio as the host of The BS Factor with Brian and Stephanie on the All-Comedy Radio network and gained national recognition when many of his sketches were featured on National Lampoon Radio on XM/Sirius. His comedy album, “Secret Asian Man” available on Spotify, and his comedy special is available at Dry Bar Comedy.
Hosting the show is the Quad Cities own Matt Santos, a local comedian, journalist, broadcast host, and host/producer of The Mile High Show Podcast.
