Dispose of Medications at Prescott Valley Dump the Drugs or Drop Boxes around Yavapai County – MATFORCE

MATFORCE, a primary prevention organization focused on stopping youth drug use before it starts, continues to partner with local law enforcement agencies to offer programs and services to properly dispose of medications throughout Yavapai County.

Since 2008 over 44,000 pounds of medication have been collected and properly disposed of through Dump the Drugs events and drop box locations throughout Yavapai County.

Prescription Drug Take Back events are a convenient way for community members to dispose of expired or unwanted medications. Prescott Valley Police Department is partnering again with Fry’s Pharmacy on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at 3100 N. Glassford Hill Road in Prescott Valley.

In an effort to promote continued proper disposal of medications throughout the year, 14 prescription drug drop boxes can be found throughout Yavapai County for convenient disposal. Contact your local police department for more details.

For more information about this event, the locations of drop boxes near you, or MATFORCE visit matforce.org/yavapai-county.
