Starting Sunday, September 1, 2024, day-use hours at recreation sites on the Bradshaw Ranger District will be reduced reflecting the shift to a different season and shorter days. Gates will open at 7:00 am and close at 6:00 pm daily through November 30, 2024.
The effected Day-Use sites include:
Granite Basin Recreation Area:

Lynx Lake Recreation Area:
- Lynx Lake South Shore Day Use

Thumb Butte Recreation Area:
- Thumb Butte Day Use area
- Thumb Butte Group Picnic Area
The gate to Spruce Mountain Lookout will close on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
