Conservatives for a Constitutional Republic to Host Yavapai County Candidates

The local chapter of Yavapai County’s Conservatives for a Constitutional Republic (ConCR) has announced that their next meeting, this Saturday, July 27th, at 11:15 am, will host LD1 House candidate Shawn Dell Wildman, and County Attorney candidate David Stringer.  Ms. Wildman is a long time county resident  making her first run for public office.  David Stringer is a local attorney and well-known political figure in Yavapai County. This event is one of the last opportunities to meet these candidates before Tuesday’s Republican primary.  ConCR’s meeting is free and open to the public but seating is limited.  Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP at concr2018@gmail.com.

Shawn Dell Wildman is a native Texan, who moved to Arizona in 1981 following her marriage. She was a stay at home mom who home schooled her three children.  Her family has lived in Yavapai County since 1994 where she and her husband, Owen, have run several private businesses including gun sales as a Federal Firearms Licensee.  They currently own and operate a printing company that provides marketing and advertising support to small businesses.

Ms. Wildman describes herself as a person of deep religious faith and strongly held conservative values. She has  entered the political world out of a sense of frustration with elected officials who campaign as conservatives but do not live up to those principles once in office.  She notes that Yavapai County is one of the most conservative areas of the state. But none of LD1’s  legislative delegation have a strong conservative voting record  or align themselves with other conservative members of the legislature. Ms. Wildman has entered the race for the LD1 legislative seat  to give  conservative voters a choice.

David Stringer is a local attorney and well-known conservative activist in Yavapai County.  He is the owner and publisher of Prescott eNews,  a conservative oriented digital news platform serving northern Arizona.

Mr. Stringer began his political work in Yavapai County in 2013 as General Counsel for the Citizens Tax Committee.  He was the architect and public spokesman for successful campaigns opposing tax increases for school bonds and budget overrides and the 2014 proposal to double the Jail District Sales Tax. In 2016 Mr. Stringer was elected to the State Legislature for LD1  and reelected in 2018.  He currently serves as a Republican  Precinct Committeeman and State Committeeman.

In 2016, David Stringer helped found the Trump for President Committee in Yavapai County. He remains a strong Trump supporter. He has made fighting illegal immigration, opposing sanctuary policies and providing legal support for President Trump’s promise to close the Border and deport illegals a centerpiece of his campaign for County Attorney.

The Yavapai County chapter of Conservatives for a Constitutional Republic is a group of conservative activists dedicated to defending and promoting the values of representative government as set forth in the United States Constitution. They are a private organization and not directly affiliated with a political party. However, most members are registered Republicans or conservative leaning Independents who are civically engaged or are current or former elected officials or candidates for office. During this election year President Dutton has scheduled candidates for all top level state and county offices to address the group.

ConCR meets monthly at the Bible Baptist Church,  3490 N. State Road 89, in Chino Valley. Recent speakers include Cong. Eli Crane,  current CD-8 candidate Abe Hamadeh, LD1 Senate Candidates Ken Bennet and Steve Zipperman, School Superintendent candidates Kara Woods and Steve King, County Sheriff Candidates David Rhodes and Doug Eckenrod, and many other prominent conservative figures and candidates for office.

ConCR is a membership organization. However, in the interest of informing voters about important issues and candidates, the appearances of guest speakers of high public interest are open to the public. All those wishing to meet LD1 candidate Shawn Dell Wildman and County Attorney candidate David Stringer, are cordially invited to attend.  Time permitting, the candidates will stand for questions from the audience.

Doors open at 11:00AM. The meeting will begin promptly at 11:15AM. RSVP’s are requested and should be directed to concr2018@gmail.com.
