Enjoy a great evening of jazz music in the beautiful Elks’ Crystal Hall on the 3rd floor of the Performing Arts Center.
Join us for the next concert in our series of jazz music exploration as we “Swing into Summer” with a salute to the Big Band Era featuring guest vocalist, Barry Dale, a Canadian stage and television star who has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada, plus several stints entertaining our American troops in Germany, France and Italy.
In addition to regular singing appearances on Canada’s City, Global and CBC radio and television networks, Barry has also starred as “Harrigan” the multi award-winning syndicated children’s TV series that ran for over 20 years.
For the past ten years, Barry has been musical director and “Boy Singer” with Del Webb’s Original Sun City Orchestra, The Rhythm Ramblers. He is also a featured singer with The Havin’ Fun Band and the Swing Kings Big Band.
Mike Vax and musicians and from around Arizona will present this evening that will include not only the music, but historical facts and anecdotes about the music and the musicians who have performed America’s True Art Form for over 100 years.
