OLLI Hosts Free Talk About Proposed Watson Woods Riparian Preserve Conservation Easement with Prescott Creeks Director Michael Byrd

On Tuesday, May 21, from 10-11 a.m., the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will host “FOREVER PRESERVED – Watson Woods Riparian Preserve” at Yavapai College Prescott Campus (Building 4 Room 102) or via Zoom for those who cannot attend in-person.

This talk will be presented by Prescott Creeks Director Michael Byrd and will highlight three decades of stewardship and rehabilitation at the Preserve. It will also provide details of the proposed permanent conservation easement being sought from the Prescott City Council to give protection in perpetuity for the vital riparian habitat of the Preserve.
