During the November 13, 2023, Chino Valley Unified School District Board Meeting Superintendent John Scholl announced his retirement effective June 30, 2024, completing 27 years with the CVUSD, the past eight years as superintendent.
CVUSD Board President Cyndi Thomas said it has “Been an honor and privilege” working with Scholl.
“Throughout his tenure, Superintendent Scholl has demonstrated unwavering dedication and commitment to our district providing exceptional leadership,” added Thomas. “(He) will be greatly missed, however, we are grateful his legacy leaves the district in an excellent position to continue and build upon his accomplishments under new leadership.”
The CVUSD Governing Board will address the superintendent opening in an upcoming CVUSD Special Board Meeting which will be held Monday, November 27, 2023, at 5:00 pm in the CVUSD Board Room, 650 E Center St., Chino Valley, AZ 86323. The meeting will open with an executive session followed by a public meeting.
