The Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County will host its annual Cash for College event on Wednesday, December 13 at the Prescott Campus of Yavapai College in the Walraven Gym beginning at 5:00 p.m. Registered scholarship providers will have a table where they can present application requirements and other important information to interested students to increase awareness and community engagement.
If you provide a scholarship supporting Yavapai County students, please join us and register by contacting Regional Director Lisa Sahady at lsahady@azfoundation.org or 928.583.7815. The deadline to register as a scholarship provider for this event is Friday, October 27.
An informational document that includes a brief description of all represented opportunities will be distributed during the events to give students, parents, and school counselors a reference guide cataloguing the available scholarships. Last year, over $206,816 in scholarship money was awarded to Yavapai County students from the Arizona Community Foundation. Local community groups as well as staff from ACF of Yavapai County will be available to answer questions and share information. The event is free and open to the public.
