Dancing for the Stars, the Boys & Girls Clubs’ signature fundraising event, is instrumental in maintaining our local Clubhouses’ operation year-round. The event consists of a dazzling dance competition that pairs local celebrities and professional dancers to perform a variety of dances, all while raising funds through sponsorships, votes and tickets. All proceeds benefit Clubs’ local programs and directly impact our community.
Season 7, presented by El Gato Azul, Barrett Floors, Lamb Chevrolet, Granville Universal Homes, NFM Lending and Yavapai College, took place at the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center, starting with the Opening Night on Friday, August 25th. The Main Event, which included reception, show and award ceremony, took place on Saturday, August 26th, 2023.

Once again, performances wowed and entertained the audience at the theater and everywhere through the event livestream. Teams truly captured the cheerful audience’s attention with productions filled with creativity, surprise, and dazzle.

While the true winners are the children and teens served by local Clubhouses, awards went to Stan Goligoski & Kelly Roberson for Best Production; Sheri Shaw & Dre Caldwell for Best Performance; and Danell Riggs & Ronnie DeBenedetta were awarded the mirror ball for raising the highest amount in overall donations.
The success of Dancing for the Stars is only possible thanks to the faithful support of our community as a whole. Heartfelt gratitude goes to each sponsor, attendee, voter, volunteer, and supporter. A special shout-out to host Leza Lachapelle Dandos, judges Jess Savoini, Summer Hinton & Zach Leonard, and the amazing cast for their commitment and remarkable effort in rehearsing, performing, and fundraising:
