The Prescott Jazz Summit is celebrating our 22nd year in 2023. We present musicians from around the United States, Arizona and our own tri-city area. Many of these musicians have performed with the biggest stars in the entertainment business, such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, The Blues Brothers, The David Letterman Show, June Christy, Anita O’Day, Toni Tennille, Cab Calloway, Joe Williams, and the big bands of Glenn Miller, Harry James, Jimmy Dorsey, Woody Herman, and Stan Kenton.
In addition, the Jazz Summit is very involved with music education and has sponsored musicians to perform and do workshops in schools all over Arizona. We have reached over 4000 students over the years. We also give scholarships to deserving students to attend summer music camps and have donated funds to many school music departments.
Our goal is to present enjoyable music in a relaxed atmosphere. One of the favorite aspects for our audiences is the interplay between the audience members and the musicians.
