Proof Mother Nature is Part of the Ex-Wives Club?
YCSO deputies responded to a cabin on fire in Seligman on Saturday evening. The structure was a total loss and all evidence pointed to a lightning strike as the culprit. However, that didn’t stop the owner from blaming his ex-wife, stating that he believed she intentionally started the fire despite no evidence to support his claim. In good faith, YCSO deputies will be interviewing the ex-wife. In good precautionary measure, they will not be standing under a tree while doing so.
Not the Kind of Dinner and a Show One Usually Sees
On Friday evening, YCSO deputies responded to a call of a physical fight with injuries at the Dry Gulch Steakhouse in Prescott. When deputies arrived, they found six patrons holding down another man, later identified as Brandon Begay, a dishwasher at the restaurant.
Brandon allegedly assaulted a cook while in the kitchen and during the fight a grease fire was started. The cook fled from Brandon and was tackled by Brandon in the dining area. A waitress attempted to assist the cook and was struck several times by Brandon. A group of customers then joined to assist. Brandon was booked into the Camp Verde jail, and deputies are following up on victim injuries and damage to the restaurant kitchen.

On Saturday afternoon YCSO Search and Rescue personnel assisted Sedona Fire Department with 5 dental students who were suffering from the effects of heat during a hike on Bear Mountain in Sedona. The students did not have water and as they were descending the mountain, they began to experience cramps and low energy. Luckily, at this time a rain cell came through, dropping the temperature by 25 degrees, giving a reprieve to the students who then were met at the bottom of the mountain by first responders.
Thankfully no one needed medical attention and the fate of future dental patients’ chompers is secure. And now we know that 5 out of 5 dentists recommend water and not just fluoride.
