City of Prescott Street Closure Details for Downtown Prescott June 30 to July 2

The City of Prescott would like to make the community aware of road closures and parking restrictions in the Downtown area during the weekend of June 30 through July 2. There are several special events in an around the Downtown area, with multiple events occurring on the same dates. Drivers are encouraged to arrive at events early and to obey all “no parking”, detour and road closure signs.

All times are approximate, and the City of Prescott Police Department will open all roads when it is safe to do so.

The following are street closures and parking closures for Friday, June 30, 2023.

Full Street Closure

- Cortez St:
  - 6:00am to 11:00am- Cortez St (Goodwin St to Carleton St)
  - 8:30am to 9:00pm- Cortez St (Union St to Goodwin St)
  - 8:30am to 11:00am- Cortez St (Gurley St to Union St)
- Goodwin St:

- - 7:00am to 9:00pm- Goodwin St (Montezuma St to Cortez St)
  - 8:30am to 11:00am– Goodwin St (Cortez St to Marina St)
- Gurley St:
  - 8:30am to 11:00am- Gurley St (Montezuma St to Cortez St)
- Granite St:

- - 11:00am to 11:59pm- Granite St (Willis St to Sam Hill Bridge)

Parking Only Closure
- 11:00am to 5:00pm- Cortez St (Goodwin St to Carleton St) and Goodwin St (Cortez St to Marina St)
- 5:00pm to 9:00pm- Courthouse side of Montezuma (Goodwin St to Gurley St), Gurley St (Montezuma St to Cortez St), and Cortez St (Gurley St to Union St)

- Parade Staging Area: 6:00am to 2:00pm- Willis St (Granite St to Washington Ave), Washington Ave, Virginia St, Pleasant St, Alarcon St, and Marina St (Sheldon St to Gurley St)
- Parade Route: 6:00am to 2:00pm- Cortez St (Sheldon St to Carleton St), Carleton St (Cortez St to Montezuma St), Montezuma St (Carleton St to Sheldon St). NOTE: Montezuma St (Goodwin St to Gurley St) will remain closed after the parade until approximately 4:00pm
- 8:00am to 3:30pm- Fleury St (Gurley St to Carondolet Dr)

- 6:00am to 8:00pm- Granite St (Willis St to Sam Hill Bridge
