Rising Stars of Prescott
Interested in getting to know your night sky? This live planetarium program will show you what constellations, planets, meteor showers and more will be coming to the Prescott skies for your viewing pleasure. The content for this program changes every month it is shown.

Touch the Stars
Touch the Stars dramatically showcases the robotic spacecraft used in the exploration of our solar system and the galaxy. The film traces the path to space through the history of NASA’s probes, orbiters, and landers—from the heart of our solar system and the surface of its planets and moons to the grand tour of the Voyager spacecraft through the outer planets and beyond.

Ningaloo: Australia’s Other Great Reef
One of the world’s largest fringing coral reefs, Ningaloo Reef is visible from space and stretches along the northwest coast of Western Australia for 260km. We travel in a two-person submarine, Odyssea, on an underwater adventure. Rich in coral, we experience this highway for the planet’s largest and smallest fish, including the whale shark. The live action full dome film is an immersive voyage of discovery as we witness Ningaloo Reef and the rare natural wonder and spectacle of life – coral spawning.

Our Many Moons
In honor of the anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, we explore the discoveries that have been made on our Moon, as well as many other moons within our solar system. This is a live show that was produced in-house at the Jim and Linda Lee Planetarium for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing in 2019.

The Jim and Linda Lee Planetarium is the only Arizona planetarium north of Phoenix, and is capable of seating 116 students and visitors, showing them the cosmos in 360-degree 4k resolution. Much more than just a planetarium, the facility contains multi-media learning software that can take viewers from the inner complexities of the human body to the farthest reaches of the known universe.
In addition to being an invaluable resource for faculty and students of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott campus, the Jim and Linda Lee Planetarium hosts events and programming open to the greater Prescott and Quad-City public year-round.
