MATFORCE is partnering with two family-focused organizations across Yavapai County to foster and strengthen relationships between children and their caregivers within the community. Parents and caregivers of Yavapai County are encouraged to register for FREE for one of these upcoming Parenting the Love and Logic Way courses. The Love and Logic approach to parenting is built on the idea that an authentic, loving connection between parents and their children forms the foundation of good behavior and healthy decision-making.
Over the course of the classes, Sandi Cheney will discuss the challenges parents and caregivers face with their children on a daily basis. She will teach strategies on how to discipline kids without losing their love and respect, help children develop personal responsibility and good decision-making skills, and nurture long-term relationships and reinforce good behavior.
Classes in the Verde area are on Thursdays, January 26th, February 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. They will be held at United Christian School located at 903 Finnie Flat Road, Camp Verde.
Classes in the Prescott area are on Saturdays, February 4th, 11th, and 18th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Participants must attend all three classes in order to get the certificate of completion. Classes will be held at the Juvenile Justice Center located at 1100 Prescott Lakes Parkway, Prescott.
Don’t miss this opportunity to help raise happy and well-behaved kids with positive, loving tools!
