The City of Prescott and their contractor, Fann Contracting, have begun the American Legion and Prescott Library Sidewalk Improvements Project.
The project consists of removing and replacing the existing curb, gutter and sidewalks along the south side of East Goodwin Street, from South Pleasant Street to South Marina Street.
Additional work includes resealing and restricting the Prescott Public Library parking lot, constructing ADA ramps, restoring residential. and commercial driveways, and reconstructing asphalt in disturbed areas.
Once complete, this project will improve the safety, functionality and accessibility of the sidewalks along the project corridors well as reconfigure the parking on Goodwin Street to add more spaces.
This project is scheduled to be finished in early 2023.
