Wander the Wild – Live Auction, Wine and Appetizers Outdoors at the Windmill House – September 18, 2022

Wander the Wild is the Highlands Center for Natural History’s signature annual fundraising event. All profits from the auction directly fund youth educational programs which enrich 10,000 children annually and provide scholarships for children and elementary school classes to attend outdoor programs based on exploration and discovery at our site in the Prescott National Forest.

This year’s 14th annual Wander the Wild will once again be a hybrid event, with an online auction open to all on September 12-17, and the live reception and auction on Sunday, September 18, 2:30-5:30pm at the Windmill House in Chino Valley (1460 W Road 4 N). The live event starts with appetizers and beverages on a beautiful tree-lined patio while the auction is on a verdant grassy knoll adjacent to a lake and shaded by lovely trees.

We plan to make the event especially gratitude filled as we are Celebrating 25 Years of service to youth and adults in our community.

Your participation in Wander the Wild will go directly to supporting the Highlands Center’s youth and family education programs.

Tickets are $100.00 and can be bought HERE.

The auction website is at 32Auctions.com/WTW2022 – Online bidding ends at noon on September 17th.

The auction features outdoor experiential packages, travel to exciting destinations near and far, educational field trips, nature inspired works of art by local artists, and much more! With local, regional, national, and international experiences and destinations, the auction offers something for everyone! There are even several raffle items available with tickets at $5.

A big thank you to you, our generous sponsors, donors, and bidders, for your enthusiastic support of our auction and the youth educational programs at the Highlands Center for Natural History! The variety and quality of donated items is amazing, and our gratitude is heartfelt.

For bidders not attending the live event on September 18th, please be sure to submit your highest proxy bid before 12 noon Arizona Time on September 17th. We will have a live bidder bid for you at the event who will bid up to the limit of your proxy bid.

Winning bidders will be notified by 32Auctions at the conclusion of the auction. Payment is to be made through the 32Auctions site. You will receive an emailed invoice and a receipt after payment.

UPON CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT, you will be contacted by the Highlands Center to arrange how to receive your auction items. YOU MUST PRESENT YOUR PAID RECEIPT to pick up or receive delivery of items you have won or purchased.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds will be given after bidding has closed and payment has been made. Please make note of expiration dates before bidding.

The Highlands Center for Natural History (HCNH) helps children and adults discover the wonders of nature and become wise caretakers of the land. Established in 1996, the HCNH is a science-based non-profit organization developed to foster an appreciation for and knowledge of the natural wonders of the Central Highlands in Arizona.

Operating on an 80-acre campus near Lynx Lake through a Special Use Permit with Prescott National Forest, the Highlands Center is a hub for lifelong learning, designed to invite discovery of the wonders of nature through on and offsite programs reaching over 15,000 children and adults each year.

The Center is supported by volunteers, memberships, educational programs, outdoor entertainment, and generous contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations and community partners.
