Roger Naylor Discusses: Arizona’s Best Winter Hikes – Wednesday, December 1 at 3 pm
Get ready to hit the trail with Roger Naylor when he discusses “Arizona’s Best Winter Hikes.” Travel writer, author, and avid hiker, Naylor will share some his favorite cool weather getaways from all over the state. The presentation will include a slide show and Q and A. Afterwards, Naylor will have books for sale.
Roger Naylor is Arizona’s premier travel writer. His latest book, Arizona’s Scenic Roads and Hikes, won the 2021 New Mexico-Arizona Book Award. It was selected as the Best Arizona Travel Book and also received overall honors as Best Arizona Book. In 2018, he was inducted into the Arizona Tourism Hall of Fame. He has also written for The Guardian, USA Today, Country Magazine, Arizona Highways, and dozens more. He is the author of several books including Arizona State Parks, The Amazing Kolb Brothers of Grand Canyon, Arizona Kicks on Route 66, and Crazy for the Heat: Arizona Tales of Ghosts, Gumshoes, and Bigfoot. Jazz in the Afternoon with The OrganNauts – Sunday, December 5 at 3 pm
Join us for an afternoon of swingin’, soulful Jazz with Prescott’s own organ trio, The OrganNauts. Drawing their inspiration from the great Jazz organ groups of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s; The OrganNauts feature Troy Schilperoort on keys, Selwyn Reams on bass, and Ted Bouras on drums.
