As we all know, the past two years have had a tremendous impact on small businesses, restaurants, creatives and the community. In response, The County Seat is gearing up to host the Farmers’ Harvest Dinner Series — a six-part, farm-to-table dinner series with the mission to help foster community relations, support the Prescott Farmers Market, and to shine a light on amazing local chefs and the abundance of produce located in Prescott.
Starting this Friday and running for the next six weeks, six local chefs will select an item from the Prescott Farmers Market to use in creating a one-of-a-kind dinner menu featuring an entrée, appetizer and dessert. The County Seat’s bartenders will also create an exclusive handcrafted cocktail that will be paired with each menu. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the market, farms, chef, featured market item and where it came from — making it not only about creative culinary expression, but about our community and the importance of local agriculture.
The Farmers’ Harvest dinner series kicks off Sept. 24 and is available every Friday through Oct. 29 from 5-7 p.m. Individual tickets ($35) and multi-night tickets ($175) to attend the dinner series can be purchased through Eventbrite here with a portion of each ticket sold being donated back to the Prescott Farmers Market.
The chef lineup includes The County Seat’s own Chef Tony Burris (Sept. 24), an Arizona Culinary Institute alum and director of culinary operations for Vivili Hospitality Group; The Hungry Badger Adventure Catering’s owner Ryan Foster (Oct. 8) who’s inspired by cuisines in Mexico, the Pacific Northwest, Caribbean and Southwest; and Chef Gina Pulido (Oct. 22) whose cooking style is influenced in combining French techniques with her southern and Asian roots. Follow The County Seat on Instagram and Facebook for additional chef announcements.
