Varsity Softball
The Badgers continued rolling right along with an easy 14-2 win over the visiting Mesquite Wildcats.
Leigha Walker led the hit parade with four, including a double, and 2 RBIs. Makayla Reyes had a single, a pair of doubles and 3 RBIs. Dana Seavey had a single and two doubles. RJ Parra also had three hits and 2 RBIs. A total of eight different Badgers had at least one hit in the game.
Eliza Legge picked up the win in the circle, giving up two runs on five hits, while striking out 9.
Freshmen Maddie Wright was roughed up by the Badger bats for 13 runs and 11 hits in just two innings. Leah Shand came in to pitch effectively for the next two innings, but Prescott had already done enough damage.
Cyndi Frausto and Gianni Memoli each had a pair of hits for Mesquite, that fell to (2-7) on the season. The Badgers (8-0) will travel on Saturday to face Coconino at 1pm.

Varsity Baseball
The Prescott Badgers were shutout for the first time this season 7-0, by the Mesquite Wildcats yesterday afternoon in Gilbert. The loss also snaps a four game winning streak.
Five different Badgers picked up one hit apiece, with three of those doubles by Luke McCauslin, Ethan Ammerman and Tucker Koning.
Tyson Potts went through three innings unscathed, but the Wildcats erupted for six runs in the fourth, chasing Potts who finished allowing six runs, eight hits, while issuing one walk. Hunter Hays came in to close out the game, allowing just one run and three hits, with a K, in 2.2 innings.
Mesquite improved to (9-1), while the Badgers drop to (6-3). Prescott will resume Grand Canyon Region play at Flagstaff on Tuesday at 3:45pm. The undefeated Eagles are (9-0), and (5-0) in the Grand Canyon Region, while the Badgers sit at (3-1) in the GCR.

Prescott beat Deer Valley 6-2 this afternoon to improve to (4-2) in Division 2, Section 2.
Deer Valley slips to (3-3) and (7-3) overall.

Varsity Boys Volleyball
The Badgers took care of business on the road with a 3-1 win over the Peoria Panthers.
Prescott won 25-20, 25-20, lost the third 21-25, won the finale 25-20, and improves to (4-1), while Peoria falls to (3-4).
The Badgers will host Peoria next Tuesday at 5:30 pm.
