Prescott National Forest to waive day-use fees for upcoming National Get Outdoors Day

On Saturday, June 11, 2022, the Prescott National Forest will waive fees at all Forest-operated recreation sites in honor of National Get Outdoors Day. This waiver does not apply to reserved group-use areas or overnight camping at Forest Service developed campgrounds. The Prescott National Forest will open the following recreation sites starting on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Developed Recreation sites that open May 1: Group Campgrounds – Eagle Ridge Group, Playground Group, Upper Wolf Creek Group Day-Use Sites – Groom Creek Schoolhouse Group Day-Use and Nature Trail, Spruce Mountain Picnic Area, Thumb Butte Group Ramada, Mingus Mountain Picnic
