About 1 Step Away

1 Step Away is a new non-profit in Arizona consisting of young professionals whose mission is to equip youth with the proper life skills via group mentorship in a leadership development program. The founders of 1 Step Away want to expose youth to the possibilities for their life purpose and vision, educating them in goal-setting skills while providing them with educational opportunities beyond what they would learn in school. As part of the program, 1 Step Away will help the students in the areas of test taking, interviewing and creating a resume that will attract the attention of scholarship committees and employers across the country. Program participants will leave the program with an idea of the direction they want to take in their lives and a clearly defined action plan to move them in that direction. Helping youth step out of their story and into their destiny is our passion. The founders believe that success is only 1 Step Away. Organization website:
