Three Goals from Freshman Riley Martinson Helps Eagles Women's Soccer Win 10th Straight Game

PRESCOTT- The Embry Riddle Eagles women’s soccer team shut-out the Providence Christian Sea Beggars 6-0 in the final home game on Saturday, October 28th.

Riley Martinson got the Eagles off to a quick start, with two goals in the first fifteen minutes of the game. Martinson would strike again in the 58th minute, assisted by Erica Heil.

Embry Riddle would continue to add on and soar to victory in the second half with goals from Ally Leara, Krista Lee and Holly Ross.

The Eagles were attacking throughout the game, out-shooting the Sea Beggars 37-4.

Eagles senior goalkeeper Emily Lambert spent the entire 90 minutes in goal and racked up three saves. Courtney Osbum was in goal during the first half for the Sea Beggars, allowing four goals and saving six. Lindsey Clayton would finish the game with two goals allowed and two goals saved.

Now on a ten-game winning streak, the Eagles (14-3, 7-0 CAL-PAC) conclude the regular season on the road Saturday, November 4th, at 1:00 pm against Benedictine University at Mesa.
