The Lady Badgers evened up their record at (1-1) with a fourth quarter rally to pull out a 39-34 win over the Arcadia Titans, last night in the Badger Dome. Kira Reily led Prescott with 17 points. Hollie Dalton scored 13 points and had 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Alisa LeBlanc pulled down 10 rebounds to go along with her 8 points. Eve Hawker came up with 3 steals, adding to the win.

Kira Reily dominated the first quarter scoring for Prescott with 9 points to help the Lady Badgers take a 13-8 lead. The teams played virtually even in the second frame, with Prescott holding a 18-14 lead at the half.

The Titans came out to dominate the third quarter, catching and surpassing the Lady Badgers to take a 28-23 lead heading into the final quarter.

Reily, Dalton, and LeBlanc were big in the final eight minutes to rally Prescott, outscoring Arcadia by ten to win the game.

Arcadia (1-4), was led by Maniah Greene with 15 points.

Coach Bobbi Yoder said, "I am very proud of my girls for fighting through it tonight and pulling out the win. We knew we were facing another tough and well coached team tonight. They beat us last season pretty easily because of turnovers."

The Lady Badgers did a good job taking care of the basketball, committing only 10 turnovers. Another plus, was Prescott was able to make key free throws down the stretch, outscoring Arcadia nine to three from the charity stripe.

Defensively, the Lady Badgers did what they had to do, learning from the game last year. Yoder said her team went in with a plan. "We knew we wanted to try and contain Kasey Stauffacher, their leading scorer and limit our turnovers. In the fourth quarter we were able to get defensive stops, force turnovers and convert on the offensive end. Overall, I thought we played well tonight, with the exception of the third quarter, but the girls responded nicely after losing the lead."

Prescott will hit the road and play at Deer Valley on Friday, at 5:30pm.
