Road loss ends a great season for Prescott girls soccer

The Prescott Badgers saw their season come to an end by the slimmest of margins, in a 1-0 loss to Salpointe Catholic in Tucson, Wednesday night. It was the second consecutive year the Badgers season has ended with a lost to the Lancers. Last season a semifinals loss, kept Prescott out of the championship game. This year was a quarterfinal setback.

Salpointe Catholic is looking to three-peat as 4A champions.

The Badgers season ends with a very good (14-4) record. Coach Paul Campuzano's teams have gone (27-7-2) in his first two seasons as head coach of the Prescott girls.
