It was a memorable time for the Prescott Badgers seniors, as the badminton team ended the regular season with an 8-1 win over the North Canyon Rattlers.
Kori Berra, one of the eleven seniors, had a very tough start to her singles match, but rebounded nicely to take two of three for the win. Berra had this to say after her match. "My match was crazy. It was a hard match, and I was just glad I was able to win." In regards to senior night, "When you start out as a freshmen, you look at the seniors, and think how much better they are. Then you get to this night and think wow, how fast it really goes by. I want to thanbk my teammates and Coach Bobbi, for what a great job she has done with our team. It has been a lot of fun."
Coach Bobbi Yoder said, "Tonight was a special night in that it was Senior Night for 9 of my 11 Varsity players. All 11 of these young ladies contributed to the win tonight and to our overall record this season. I am so proud of these young ladies for everything they have accomplished so far this season. It truly has been a team effort every match and I count myself blessed to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of young ladies."
