Kassidy Outlaw knocked in six runs as the Bradshaw Mountain Bears beat the Prescott Badgers 13-2, at Prescott High School.
The game was scoreless through the first three innings, but then the Bears woke up. Five runs in the fourth, and five in the fifth, made it 10-0 Bradshaw Mountain, with the pressure on Prescott to extend the game another inning. The Badgers cut the deficit to 10-2, scoring on a wild pitch and an RBI by McKynzie Hyslip. The Bears were led by Lindsey Bush and MeKenzie Smith , who scored three runs each, while going 2-4 at the plate. Madison Duryea had two RBIs, behind the six RBI's by Kassidy Outlaw.
The Badgers managed just five hits in the contest. Dana Seavey had two of those hits, with a single and a double. Seavey also walked, stole a base, and scored a run. Danner Cozens walked and scored the other run. Alexis Ingram singled and walked twice. Makayla Reyes had a single in three at bats. McKynzie Hyslip had an RBI single. She also started in the circle, pitching four innings. Francesca Larson pitched the final two innings.
Bradshaw Mountain keeps their region title hopes in tack at (7-3), and (16-6) overall.
