17 October 2013

Badgers sweep the Jaguars back to back!

The Prescott Badgers badminton team concluded their regular season at home last night in convincing fashion, beating the visiting Boulder Creek Jaguars 8-1. The Badgers won all of their single matches in two games. Prescott won two of the three doubles matches, and with the win finish the regular season with a 12-2 record.

It was senior day and the foillowing girls were honored for their hard work and dedication. They are Cailey Krekemeier, (four year varsity), Lilli Kelly (three year varsity), and Staci Irvine (two year varsity).

The night before Prescott traveled to Boulder Creek. The results were exactly the same as the Badgers won 8-1.

Prescott will travel to Independence tomorrow to play in the Arizona State Match. Coach Peters will play her top three players, who are Cailey Kreikemeier and Andie Gonzales, who will be playing doubles, and Sierra Rosdahl, who will play in the singles competition.
