The Roughrider Soccer team beat the Gauchos from Glendale Community College Saturday night in Prescott Valley, 3-0. Yavapai runs their record to 9-1-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the ACCAC. Glendale falls to 2-6-1. Tonight's victory is the 54th time that YC has beaten the Gauchos, the second most victories over a single team (Pima is first, 57).

It was a combined effort in goal for Yavapai’s 6th shutout of the season. Greg Patenaude played 75 minutes and had 7 saves. Making his first appearance of the 2015 season, Coltin Smith played 15 minutes and registered 1 save.

The Roughriders conclude the first half of the ACCAC season on Tuesday when they host Chandler-Gilbert Community College. The match will be played at Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley beginning at 6:00 PM.
