Fire Restrictions Lifted

As of Friday morning, all fire restrictions have been lifted in the Prescott National Forest and the City of Prescott.

According to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, a petroglyph rock located along the Salt Mine Road in Camp Verde was vandalized by some unknown perpetrator(s) who smeared drywall mud on the rock, covering up the ancient art.

The Table Fire in Dugas

The Table Fire is burning about 7 miles northeast of the town of Dugas inside the Cedar Bench Wilderness, according to Mary Nunez, of the Forest Service.
